Noa Baron
Fighting for a better world.
Noa Baron (they/them) believes in the possibility of a better tomorrow. They are a Jewish organizer with extensive experience fighting for justice within and beyond the Jewish community. They have worked in interfaith coalitions and multifaith spaces, building relationships across lines of faith and identity in the pursuit of collective liberation.
In 2021, Noa was honored as one of Jewish Week's "36 Under 36" for their organizing. Based in Boston, MA, they bring a sense of radical optimism and warmth to social justice work.
Their organizing has focused on fighting for democracy and voting rights, advocating for justice for Palestinians and Israelis, and working towards immigrant justice, workers’ rights, climate justice, and LGBTQ+ liberation. They have organized with the Workers Circle, If Not Now, Rabbis for Ceasefire, and the Religious Action Center.
Noa is currently a rabbinical student at Hebrew College, where they are pursuing a rabbinate rooted in prophetic justice, community care, and sacred imagination.
Noa has long been committed to interreligious engagement, believing that working across lines of difference is essential to building a better world. They serve as Interreligious Leadership Coordinator at the Boston Theological Interreligious Consortium, connecting students and faculty from religious learning institutions across Boston. They are also the co-founder and co-director of the Boston Interfaith Song Collective.
